Personality: Unlike his other Messenger bretheren, Karaiyu doesn't put that much effort into his job of parting souls from Earth to Heaven and Hell. He's often lazy and laid back, but is always ready to step into action when needed. He puts his attitude towards a large amount of chivalry for the ladies, and is very good with children. Flashy entrances into different areas are his trademark.

Equipment: ~ Uchiwa-Yaiba Halberd ;; A large halberd which stands about 11 feet if put upright. The blade itself is 7 feet tall, whereas the handle, being the shaft, guard included, being 4 feet long. Its blade takes up most of the actual halberd, looking very heavy to one's gaze upon it, where the blade is roughly around 1/4 of a metre thick. The whole halberd is constructed with folded steel itself, being 5 thick layers of it itself. An average human, would not be able to lift this weapon themselves, showing that Karaiyu possesses immense strength since he is able to swing it around with ease, being the strength of almost 10 average men.

The unique ability of this certain halberd is that the layers of the blade can fold out into a large fan (being named Uchiwa-Yaiba, Heavy Fan, in Japanese), where the halberd's blade becomes a large half circle, this then being able to create large gusts of wind with a single swing.
